No dia 18 de Julho fui, na companhia da minha
mãe, até ao Palácio da Ajuda visitar a exposição da artista Joana Vasconcelos

A visita permite ver dois eventos em
simultâneo, por um lado é possível assistir à exposição da artista que inclui
ao todo 37 obras e por outro ver ou rever o Palácio Nacional da Ajuda.
Se bem me recordo, a ultima vez que estive no
palácio da Ajuda foi em 2007 na exposição sobre o tempo dos Czares intitulada “Arte
e Cultura do Império Russo nas Colecções do Hermitage - De Pedro, o Grande, a
Nicolau II”. Regressei cerca de 6 anos depois para visitar a exposição de que
hoje vos falo.
Trata-se de uma exposição moderna com movimento
inserida num espaço histórico. Os sentidos mais despertados são a visão e a
audição, para além das obras, onde se verifica um predomínio da faiança de
Rafael Bordalo Pinheiro e de rendas em croché, para complementar duas obras da
artista há também duas músicas que tocam uma de Maria Calas e a outra de Amália
Rodrigues e há também uma televisão que passa o Festival da Canção em França.
Para quem não sabe Joana Vasconcelos nasceu em Paris.
A exposição ainda vai estar patente até 25 de
Agosto de 2013. Se tiver oportunidade de ir ver não a perca.
Pessoalmente gostei da exposição, já conhecia o
trabalho da artista, pois ela já tinha tido uma exposição no Centro Cultural de
Belém e considero-a uma empresa com um forte sentido de design. As obras
integram-se nos espaços que ocupam, ninguém fica indiferente, mas é tudo
estudado ao pormenor para se adequar ao local. Aprecio a integração do croché
na criação de obras de arte. Esta é uma artista cada vez mais consistente no
panorama da arte nacional e internacional.
Para vos mostrar a recolha fotográfica que fiz,
compilei tudo num filme e disponibilizei-o no youtube, tendo em conta que 10 €
é um preço que nem toda a gente pode pagar, sobretudo na actual conjuntura
socioeconómica que Portugal atravessa.

foram todas tiradas por mim, sem flash (é permitido fotografar a exposição e o
palácio, mas não é autorizado o uso de flash nas fotos que se tiram) e para

On July 18 I went in the company of my mother, to the Ajuda Palace visit
the exhibition of the artist Joana Vasconcelos (All information included in: http://www.joanavasconcelos-pnajuda.pt/).

Visit this exhibition was one of my goals during a short vacaciosns I spent
in Lisbon.
The visit allows you to see two events simultaneously, on one hand it is
possible to attend the exhibition of the artist which includes altogether 37
works and on the other to see or review the Ajuda National Palace.
If I remember correctly, the last time I was in the palace of Ajuda was on a
display in 2007 about the time of the Czars entitled "Art and Culture of
the Russian Empire in the Hermitage Collections - From Peter the Great to
Nicholas II." I returned about 6 years later to visit the exhibition that
I speak today.
This is an exhibition with modern movement set in a historical space. The
more senses are awakened vision and hearing, in addition to the works, where
there is a predominance of Stoneware Rafael Bordalo Pinheiro and crocheted lace
to complement the artist's two works there are also two songs that play one of
Maria Callas and other of Amália Rodrigues and there is also a television that
passes the Song Festival in France. For those unaware Joana Vasconcelos was born
in Paris.
The exhibition will be open until August 25, 2013. If you have the
opportunity to go see does not miss.
Personally I liked the exhibition, I already knew the artist's work, as she
had already had an exhibition at the Centro Cultural de Belem, I consider her as
a company with a strong sense of design. The work becomes part of the spaces
they occupy, nobody is indifferent, it's all studied in detail to suit the
location. I appreciate the integration of crochet in creating works of art.
This is an artist increasingly consistent overview of the national and
international art.
To show you the photographic collection I did, I compiled it all on film
and put it available on YouTube, given that € 10 is a
price that not everyone can afford, especially in the current socio-economic crises
Portugal is going through.
