Comprei este lindo nó chinês na China, é bem grande como podem ver na fotografia. Comprei os símbolos que colei na porta do roupeiro, no Izibild. O espanta espíritos branco com baguá (símbolo do Feng Shui), comprei numa loja chinesa e brevemente vou mudá-lo para a entrada de minha casa para cumprir melhor as regras do Feng Shui.

Gostei imenso dele logo quando o vi. Penso que me custou 10€, ainda tenho de descobrir onde o comprei e em que dia. Recordo-me do local e sei que foi já perto do final da viagem, mas ainda não consegui descobrir o nome do local.

Recordações são aquilo que fica de uma viagem, esta é uma das muitas recordações que reuni durante a viagem cuja influência ocupa um lugar central na decoração da minha casa.

Entretanto, já comprei mais nós chineses, mas pequenos, nenhum tão grande como este.

I bought this beautiful Chinese knot in China it is quite large as you can see in the photo. I bought in Izibild the symbols that I pasted on the door of the wardrobe. The white wind chimes with the Bagua (Feng Shui symbol), I bought at a china shop and I will briefly change it to the entrance of my house to meet better with the rules of Feng Shui.

I really enjoyed it as soon when I saw it. I think it cost me € 10, I still have to figure out where I bought it and on what day. I remember the place and I know it was already near the end of the trip, but still I could not figure out the name of the place.

Memories are what stands of a voyage, this is one of the many memories I have gathered during the trip whose influence plays a central role in the decoration of my house.

However, since then I bought more Chinese knots, but smaller, none as big as this.

Contos de uma Viagem à China / Tales of a Trip to China: O meu Chapéu Chinês / My Chinese Hat

Comprei este chapéu chinês perto da Muralha da China, deu-me um enorme gosto regatear o preço porque consegui comprar por cerca de 3 €. Mais uma vez só me consigo recordar dos preços em euros, mas posso vos dizer que foi muito barato.

Aliás, durante a minha estadia na China foi junto à Muralha da China o local onde fiz as melhores compras.

Foi no dia 18 de Agosto de 2009 que o comprei e ao longo das deslocações, durante o resto dos dias de viagem, tive sempre o cuidado de o utilizar na cabeça para não correr o risco de o estragar.

Este género de chapéu é utilizado pelos agricultores sobretudo nos campos de arrozais na China.

A imagem que os meus pais ainda hoje recordam da minha chegada a Portugal é a de eu a sair pela porta de desembarque do aeroporto da Portela com o chapéu na cabeça e as malas pelas mãos. Sinal de que tinha gostado imenso da viagem.

Durante vários anos este chapéu ficou em casa dos meus pais, no meu antigo quarto. Este ano, quando regressei de férias pendurei o meu chapéu Chinês na parede da lareira da minha sala, como objecto decorativo, passando assim a ganhar um lugar de destaque.

Esta é mais uma das recordações que trouxe de uma viagem à China que mudou a minha forma de ver a vida.

 

I bought this hat near the Chinese Wall of China, it gave me a huge taste haggle the price because I could buy it for about € 3. Again I can only remember the prices in euros, but I can tell you that it was very cheap.

In fact, during my stay in China was close to Wall of China where I did the best buys.

It was on August 18, 2009 I bought it and along the journeys for the rest of days of travel I had always careful to use it on the head not to run the risk of spoiling it.

This kind of hat is used primarily by farmers in rice paddy fields in China.

The image that my parents still remember of my arrival to Portugal is that of me coming out the arrivals door of the Portela airport with the hat on the head and suitcases by hand. Sign, that I had liked the trip a lot.

For several years this hat was in my parents' house, in my old room. This year, when I returned from vacation I hung my Chinese hat on fireplace wall of my dining room as a decorative object, passing to gain a prominent place.

This is another one of the memories that brought a trip to China that changed my way of seeing life.

O meu sinete oriental / My eastern signet

No quinto dia de viagem, no dia 18 de Agosto de 2009, numa 3ª feira, durante o nosso percurso fomos até à Muralha da China. Depois de uma curta visita a esta enorme fronteira, mundialmente conhecida, após ter descido o teleférico e ter realizado algumas compras, encontrei um vendedor que me fez o meu sinete a troco de 5€, não me lembro do valor do objecto em renminbis (moeda chinesa) mas foi nesta moeda em que foi pago, mas como no meu pensamento converti o valor em euros é esse o valor de que me consigo recordar.

Um sinete é um carimbo esculpido em pedra e utilizado pelos chineses em pinturas e trabalhos de caligrafia como uma espécie de assinatura do artista, muitos deles são extremamente bonitos e bem-elaborados, sendo por si só uma obra de arte. Na realidade, duas obras de arte em uma, além da escultura do carimbo, cujo corpo geralmente representa algum animal típico ou mitológico, há a gravura do nome do utilizador, em ideogramas, na base.

Sinetes como estes são fáceis de se encontrar na China e o seu preço pode variar bastante, dependendo do grau de elaboração da peça e, é claro, da capacidade de regatear do comprador. Em alguns lugares encontram-se artesãos que gravam o nome do interessado na hora. Trata-se de uma peça pequena, feita em pedra e fácil de transportar.

O carimbo deve ser utilizado com uma tinta vermelha adequada, eu tenho essa tinta, não a comprei na China, comprei numa rua estreita em Lisboa, aquela que vai do Rossio até ao Martim-Moniz, tem uma casa chinesa que vende este género de tinta.

On the fifth day trip, on August 18, 2009, on Tuesday during our tour we went to the Great Wall of China. After a short visit to this huge border, known worldwide, after having declined the lift and have done some shopping, I found a seller who made me my signet in exchange for € 5, I can’t remember the value of the object in Renminbi (currency Chinese) but this was money that was paid, but in my mind as the converted amount in euros that is the value that I can remember.

A signet is a stamp carved in stone and used by the Chinese paintings and calligraphy works as a kind of signature of the artist, many of them are extremely beautiful and well-designed, and is in itself a work of art. In fact, two works of art in one, beyond the sculpture of the stamp, whose body is usually a typical animal or mythological, there is a picture of the user's name in kanji on the base.

Signets like these are easy to find in China and the price can vary greatly depending on the degree of development of the piece and, of course, the ability of the buyer to haggle. In some places there are artisans who engrave the name of the person concerned at the time. This is a small part made of stone and easy to carry.

The stamp must be used with a proper red paint, this paint I have not bought in China, I bought in a narrow street in Lisbon (Portugal), one that street that goes from Rossio to Martim-Moniz, it has a Chinese house that sells this kind of ink.
