O ano parlamentar abriu oficialmente ontem, quarta-feira, com uma sessão de cinema, onde foi exibido o filme "O gebo e a sombra", que o realizador Manoel de Oliveira apresentou aos deputados.

A nova sessão legislativa ficou marcada por uma homenagem ao realizador português, de 103 anos, que esteve presente na sessão, às 18:00, apesar dos recentes problemas de saúde.

A sessão esteve aberta ao público.

Nas escadarias da Assembleia foi projectado, às 20h00, a primeira longa-metragem de Manoel de Oliveira, “Aniki-Bobó”.

“O Gebo e a Sombra”, escrito e realizado por Manoel de Oliveira a partir de uma peça de teatro de Raul Brandão, vai estrear nas salas portuguesas no próximo dia 27 de Setembro de 2012. Exibido no último festival de cinema de Veneza, o filme conta com as interpretações de Michael Lonsdale, Claudia Cardinale, Leonor Silveira, Ricardo Trêpa, Jeanne Moreau e Luís Miguel Cintra. Teve co-produção com França e um orçamento de 1,6 milhões de euros.

The parliamentary year officially opened yesterday, Wednesday, with a movie, which was screened the film "The Zebu and shadow," the filmmaker Manoel de Oliveira presented to Members.
