Sobre o Autor:

Nasceu em 1964 Moçambique. É sobretudo conhecido pelo seu trabalho como jornalista, carreira que abraçou em 1981, na Rádio Macau. Trabalhou na BBC, em Londres, de 1987 a 1990, e seguiu para a RTP, onde começou a apresentar o 24 horas. Em 1991 passou para a apresentação do Telejornal e tornou-se colaborador permanente da CNN entre 1993 e 2002.

Doutorado em Ciências da Comunicação, é professor da Universidade Nova de Lisboa e jornalista da RTP, tendo ocupado por duas vezes o cargo de Director de Informação, da televisão pública. É um dos mais premiados jornalistas portugueses, galardoado com dois prémios do Clube Português de Imprensa e três da CNN, entre outros.

About the Author:

Born in Mozambique in 1964. It is particularly known for his work as a journalist, who embraced career in 1981 at Radio Macau. He worked at the BBC in London, from 1987 to 1990, and proceeded to the RTP, where he began to present 24 hours. In 1991 went to the presentation of Telejornal and became a permanent contributor to CNN from 1993 to 2002.

PhD in Communication Sciences, is a professor at New University of Lisbon and RTP journalist, has held twice been the Director of Information, public television. It is one of the most distinguished journalists Portuguese, winner of two awards of the Portuguese Club of Press and three from CNN, among others.
